at least put in deeper pots and bring soil level up to base of palms

Hi, after your palms are matured and at that size, you won't be able to straighten them with much luck. In general, palms love to spread their roots, so I'd go with a much wider and deeper pot for each. Depending on where you live, I'd just plant them into the ground for the best results. Honestly I'm not sure how large palms respond to being transplanted, but good luck! Hope this helps.
