I was able to purchase Purple Milkweed seeds for 10 for $2.25 on Etsy from Robinseeds. I purchased 30 seeds for $6.75 as there was no limit on how many could be purchased. More expensive than Prairie Moon, but cheaper than other sources.

Hi oksandy48, Just curious if you have some of the A. latifolia and A. subulata to share? I've never grown these two species and would like to try them if you think I can grow them in the NC mountains in Z-6. Thanks for any help. Mark

Mark, not sure about your climate. A latifolia is a perennial that grows in harsh conditions in western Oklahoma. A subulata is not cold hardy, but it is overwintering well for me in my sunroom. Were you successful with the viridis seeds I sent you a couple or so years ago? A latifolia and subulata seeds are available for sale from ALPLAINS.

Thanks for the info on the two Milkweeds. I did germinate several of the viridis and planted them out this past summer and hopefully will bloom them this coming summer. Thanks again. Mark
