Hi My older ideabooks have disappeared. The one I made today is visible, but that's all.

I am planning a few remodels in the future and I would appreciate it if they can be returned

to my account. Once they have been returned, I can delete the ones I no longer need if

that is now a requirement. Thank you for your help!

Anyone having problems with the OLD idea books list do what I did.....try signing out and back into your account and see if that solves the problem. Did for me and I'm not sure why but I do have three different e-mails but never remembered signing up with any of the others but I now have my old list/photos back again. Very odd but it worked.

I have the same problem. Hundreds of saved photos gone. Shared ideabooks also gone. I tried logging out and back on. No luck. Super frustrated.

I have contacted support multiple times. I heard back only once and it was to ask if I might have used a different account. Very frustrated that there's no way to fix this and no way to reach anyone on the phone.

Same happened here. Logon no longer accessible.... ideabooks disappeared from both my ipad and phone all of a sudden.

Only when I search for my logon ideabooks on my desktop am able to view my ideabooks. But cant access my old user id!

Houzz tech support is highly deficient.

Hi all, Most often when ideabooks are suddenly gone after resetting a password, it is because you are now logged into a different account. It's not unusual for someone to accidentally have created more than one account over the years.

For at least a few folks in this thread, I can see that you have multiple accounts originating from the same internet connection - some named very similarly - so that is likely the cause.

This is the only solution that Houzz tech support offers when obviously there is something else going on. It would be nice if they listened to their customers and figured out how to respond to the situation rather than simply treating us all like dummies.

I only have one Houzz account, not multiple ones and my idea book disappeared.

I also have only one Houzz account and all of idea books and cart items have disappeared. Signing in and out on different devices didn’t help.

Houzz is SUCH A DISAPPOINTMENT!!!!!

Today I went to Houzz and was signed out, I’m always signed in with my devices. I tried to log in..no problem there but my idea books are gone! We’re planning a remodel in April and I had so many ideas for colors etc saved I don’t understand what happened!

I found mine by using a different email address and log in..had forgotten about the first email used a few years ago, it’s all there now

I just signed in and my folders are all gone too. I am very frustrated that they could purge people’s hard work.

My photos and reviews were removed

Thjis just happened to me. Saving ideas for a new home build...ALL GONE!!!

My wife and I are having the same issue.....years of ideas saved, and all gone, hers and mine, each on it's own account, both disappeared! don't know what to do, tried contacting Houzz to no avail. I hope the ideabooks can be recovered.....so much work and effort......

OMG…I’m in the middle of some renovations and ALL of my saved items are gone and I’m so frustrated!

Hi Aretha, I'm seeing a few ideabooks on your profile and no deleted ideabooks on your account. If you are missing ideabooks, is it possible that you inadvertantly created a second account and are logged into that?

Emily…you see a few in the most recent idea books that I had start recreating since my previous ones were deleted! Believe me when I’m say I don’t have multiple accounts on any app/platform! I had way to many that I had save over some years and looked up and they just disappeared like everyone else’s! What a disappointment!!!

How do we get the idea books back? Both mine are gone too. And no I do not have 2 accounts. Using platform for years. What a mess.

My idea books are gone. I have not changed my password, added an account, or anything of the like. I haven't logged in for awhile but today, Houzz wants me to log in as a new professional account. I just want to see my personal, non-professional account with my ideabooks. Please help. I am about to start a huge bathroom reno.

Years worth of all my idea books are gone. I was using Facebook account to login to houzz and it looks like houzz don't support that anymore and converted to a normal account after resetting the password, but none of the old idea books, messages etc are there. Any idea ?

I haven't get any response from Houzz team. Horrible site to use. There are better sites out there who respect and protect customer's data.

Mine were all restored after a day. I didn’t do anything to fix it. I think it’s a random tech issue. If it doesn’t come back in the next few days, reach out to customer service. If they respond. 😕

For missing ideabooks - the most common issue that causes this is that the person missing ideabooks has more than one account - they may not even be aware of that. Sometimes people have accidentally created a duplicate account and suddenly can't find the profile they are used to with all the photos they have saved. This is the single most common way this happens.
