I'm in Ontario, I only have one sans which is a masoniana. I did ask a question recently about its growth and did submit how the leaves were growing. I am only a beginner.

They're ALL Snake plants, may I pls ask what you mean by that?

They are all sansevieria. The tall spiky one is referred to as a snake plant. There is a shorter one called a birds nest and I have a cylindrical one that is referred to as an African walking stick.

That's the reason I hate nick names. Used locally and by nurseries. We should stick to the proper names. I know I'm guilty myself sometimes.

That comment did strike a question in me also. Masoniana is it's own species and can't revert to nothing but it can rise to a new cultivar of some thing else.

I hear you. The photo she posted was the right plant but newest leaf was tall an skinny like a snake plant. Do you do any trading. I am looking for new varieties also have other succulents

Thx for clarifying Laurel, I haven't heard of them referred to that way, news to me.

I've heard various different kinds referred to as Snakes, tho' most folks I know who DO have different kinds refer to them by proper/formal names, we're just used to it.

PS: Masoniana can be a very slow grower (as I recall, no longer have any).

Laurel, I give away for postage most of my plants. Don't know Canada's laws but I did send some there before and it made it ok. Postage is double what it is in the U.S. Extra forms to fill out at the post office. Regular box about $10 or so. Don't know what I have to trade until late spring when they come out of the basement and see what condition their in.

Hi just looked at your photos, awesome collection. I will contact you in spring, it way to cold to ship anything. How does a person go about getting postage if we ca do this. Is there some kind of international postage?

I go by trust. Most people pay me, some forget. You owe me what it cost me at my post office to ship it to you when box arrives and pay by paypal or check to my return address on the box. So far, all my boxes arrived safely and only one returned a month later due to my mistake of wrong address. Plants were still alive but a little leggy from being in darkness for a month.
