Peppers Not Ripening

Hi guys...

So I've had this pepper plant since middle August and it fruited in late October. And my peppers haven't ripened in almost a month!! Is this normal? This is my first time growing peppers and I don't know what variety this is so i wanted to wait till it ripened to see it's color. I bought the seeds online thinking I was going to get Peter Peppers (what i ordered) but they germinated into this. Can anybody tell me what variety it could be, how long to wait to ripen and if this is normal? Thanks.
