Hi Laurel, I'm sorry you're not getting any responses from Canadian growers, you might have better luck if you post in the spring so I wouldn't give up on sources for sans yet.

I'm in Florida and a sansevieria collector as well as aroids. I've traded sansevierias all over the world over the decades but haven't been able to send plants successfully to folks in Canada. I think they are irradiating packages as they come into the country, and so plants are destroyed. I don't get that since there's almost zero chance non-native plants would survive one of your winters.

I hope you're able to find Canadian commercial sources and private collectors from which to buy or trade.

Russ, Didn't know about this irradiation procedure in Canada. I sent some Haworthias last year and they came ok but if so, they would have died maybe a month later. Never heard back from they how it did.

Stush, I'm only assuming on the irradiation. I sent a small boxes of cuttings of a rare schefflera species Nova to a fellow in Canada this summer, which arrived looking like someone took a blowtorch to them. Any green tissue still on the cuttings turned black in short order and none survived. I followed up with a second box and same thing happened.

I don't know what else other than irradiation could cause such damage. The trips did take 8 days each, but these were semi-woody cuttings and they should have stayed viable for that long.

Any other ideas on this?
