fruit still on tree

my desert king plant still has some green figs, does anyone think they will ripen? or should I just pick them off? do figs ripen off the plant?

Where are you located?

In Canada Desert King is great for 1st crop (brebas)! The main crop on Desert King requires pollination so won't ripen in Canada since there is no fig wasp here.

At this time of year in Canada it is best to drop the main crop figs on Desert King.

Figs do not ripen off the tree. Need your location or ag zone!

Yeah it's probably getting too cold up your way for the fruit to ripen. I'd prune them off, the tree will most likely drop them itself if you do not.
