We allow our clumps to get much bigger than this one and they continue to flower well. If you are wanting to spread it to another location the best time is after flowering. Entering summer would subject it to more stress with high temperatures. Let it grow if you can :-)

I agree - dietes are usually quite large clumpers so I see no need to divide any time soon. Unless of course you wish to make more plants :-) The recommended time for division is in early spring before new growth starts.
