Will work. But - the fuzzier it is the harder to wash the grime out. I am thinking it will be a bit on a wet side - you try on several pots - I think you would need to add a layer of coarse perlite on the bottom of the pot to prevent the soil getting too soggy.

It is 74 inches wide, pick your color, made out of recycled bottles, I cut it to 10x24.6 stripes (basically 3 in one width) - they come up to 30cents a piece - so if it is not to grimey - I was it with Clorox, if it is - chuck it.

I have used polar fleece; it has worked well for me plus it washes up easily. And as Irina mentioned above, I DO use a layer of coarse perlite on the bottom of my pots and never have soggy potting soil.

Hear, hear. Coarse Perlite is good for many reasons. And you have happy white roots because they breath!
