Omphalodes Linifolia over winter

Grew O. Linifolia from seed this spring, the plants did sort of terrible, but set a TON of seed. I collected a lot, but hundreds have germinated in the beds. They are currently on their first or second set of true leaves, and about 2-3 inches tall. I am curious if anyone thinks these might survive over our wet, zone 8 winter? If not, do I just scatter seeds in early spring? Im having a hard time figuring out if these are half hardy / biennial or a wimpy annual. Thanks!
