Hello! I'm highly interested in this table but noticed on the photo posted (Houzz) the middle shelf looks like there is a perfectly square piece missing in the front left corner. Even blown up, it looks strange and I wanted to know if you could clarify what I'm looking at. Also, my bath fixtures are polished nickel. Please confirm the frame is indeed polished nickel. Last thing, is the glass clear or slightly smoked? Thanks so much! Soeurette
