Yes. but needs to be grown in a more shaded area.. Totally invasive, you need to keep an eye on it as it will cover areas you dont want..if its on stucco ,when you pull it down it will leave huge markings where it attached to. Heads Up...also keep away from roof line, as it grows the stalked get thicker and they can lift up roof tiles.. Creeping fig is beautiful it gives an old world charm ..Hope this helps. Lee

jasmine will have to be wired to stay on walls..If you use jasmine use 1 gallons and place closer together to get a full covered wall...cats claw can take full sun and grabs on by itself but dies off in the winter.. Lee

Margery, Start with 1 gallon cats claw you can pull away strands of it and tape it to the wall going downward..small strips of tape.... when it starts to take off you will see the little hands of the plant grabbing on ..be carefull taking off tape , if you pull to hard it will pull off wall. Margery, I wanted to show you my creeping fig..Which is more dense than cats claw and mine is 6 years old so the older it gets the bigger the leaves get ..I keep mine more shaggy.. Lee

if you plant a creeping fig on the fence away from the house would it still try to get attach??

Creeping fig is wonderful but as you know the roots do attach to wood, brick, or stucco. I planted one on a fence that adjoins the house and runners attach to the house but if not connected there should be no problem. The roots and runners do get to 1 inch in diameter.
