Modern Shower storage

We just completed and moved into our new home. It is a very modern design and the master shower is very large. I'm looking to add a caddy or storage shelf of some sort that does not require drilling holes. The suction cup holders also won't stay on the stone tiles. Any advice on what to use that fits the style while adding function?

Sorry, not a suggestion, but I'm wondering why on earth the renovator/builder before you didn't have a shower niche or two installed?! Seems such a waste in such a big lovely shower. Personally, I hate caddies. They seem so cheap in such a pretty tiled atmosphere.

Hold on, just thought of a maybe not so terrible looking addition. A floor to ceiling tension rod corner shelving unit.

We used to have a metal bin that had everything in it and sat at the dry end of the shower.

I agree. No clue why they didn't include a storage shelf. It's an enormous space. Thanks for the ideas. I've ordered a bamboo corner shelf to try.

err... i'm seeing two niches.....

dont put more stuff to live in your shower. if only one of you has a lot of stuff, put it in a tote and carry it out when you are finished.

your shower may be large but its quite narrow, and the last thing that will make you feel spa-like is to have anything under foot that doesnt belong to you.

You should probably avoid bamboo and get a teak corner shelf. Or, nnigrt idea is good. just put all the stuff in a tote caddy and take it in and out when you shower. PIA I know, but does solve the problem.

It is a window. I ordered a couple corner cabinets (one bamboo and one chrome) and neither worked well because of the pebble floor. They tip over. It would be nice if I could find a simple caddy to hang from the window.

I would suggest teak shelving on a tension rod - it's held up by the applied force between floor an ceiling, so shouldn't tip on the pebble floor.

I'll look around and see if I can find anything like that, but it should be a good starting point.

Yeah, the tension-mounted kind like Veronica suggested will be your best bet.

I do like the tension rod idea. The problem I'm running into is 10 ft ceilings. I can't seem to find one that long. :/
