oh how lucky you are to live in an area that have these beautiful, old homes! sigh.

right off the bat, that large green bush needs to go wayyyyy down! Personally, I would take it out (as much as I hate destroying healthy greenery) because it just doesn't go w/the style home. Can you plant a nice hydrangea in it's place? If it's a shadier spot, maybe a jap. maple. I would also remove the grass in the planter beds (why would they build up planter beds and then put in grass???) The iceberg roses would fill in nicely, have tons of white roses and are easier to care for.

this home is beautiful! they have a similar door as you. Any way you could get a stained glass piece for the transom above the door?

Colors are beautiful. isn't it a thing in the south to paint your porch ceiling a light blue to keep 'evil' away? lol I can't tell if your door is original or not, but bringing in some natural wood by the way of a craftsman door would help to warm up the porch. Of course, the porch swing is a must!

the stairs need to be changed. some other tile or stone on the steps, different hand rail and the yellow brick, perhaps change them out for stone caps. look at the photo above where the cement is under the pots.

if you home faces north and gets filtered sun, you could do some beautiful greenery like this. This is stunning. this one is in Charolette.

I would pull out the planters and grade it to get something like above.

These are what our Craftsman in SoCal look like. very traditional colors. A lot of wood work.

also think about switching out the house numbers to craftsman style font and ditto for the lighting.
