Hello!

I am painting my guest bedroom a deep, moody blue color similar to BM In The Midnight Hour. I have already decided on this part so I don't need advice there :) Going for a luxe, seductive look w/ brass and soft fabrics in the room. Will be including mirror(s) and art to add contrast on the walls.

My question comes in for the ceiling and trim color.

The ceilings are 11'. The room is rectangular with no odd ceiling angles.

The bedroom does not get a lot of natural light but will be well-lit with artificial.

The room will have crown molding.

I love the look of darker painted ceilings but am not sure if it should match the paint, be a complementary lighter color, be off-white, be reduced with white, etc.

And then, should the trim match the ceiling? The walls? Be lighter? I don't want the trim to be too stark.
