Winter advice for Japanese Maples in utah

Hey guys!
I have created a cold frame in my backyard. It is 8x5 and almost 6 feet tall. I have created this to house my Japanese maples in over the harsh winter here in Ogden Utah. I would like to know if my setup is going to be ok for them or if it will be overkill.
I purchased Heat Tape from Lowes, its the stuff you put on roofs edges to melt snow. I have a couple days data as to what the temps are looking like outside and in the greenhouse underneath the bubble wrap I put over the trees to insulate them. The Heat Tape does not burn when touched.

I have also purchased a device to turn on the heat tape when the temp goes below 35 and to turn off once at 45. With the readings I have gathered so far that seems perfect and very reasonable. Please let me know any thoughts or comments on my issue.
