Have a question concerning the the edging

So what type of materials did you use for the edging? Is it wood or that plastic stuff?

    It's corten steel.

Is that an edging product specifically, or did you adapt it? Beautiful!

Where did you purchase the Corten steel? Have you ever used corten as edging around a house? What thickness did you use?

Would you mind providing information on the thickness of the corten steel edging? Wondering if 16 gauge would work in this application. Thanks.

16 gauge (1/16") may be on the thin side. We typically use 1/8", 3/16", or 1/4" for our edging material.

One more question: what's the width of the corten steel edging? Maybe like 5" so that you have 3" underground and 2" above ground? Planning on doing this in my backyard. THANK YOU!

I do not recall exactly what we used on this project but we would typically use 4" or 6" tall edging

I have purchased and installed corten steel for my fence. I wonder if the surface color will rust evently. Do you sand down the surface to achieve a uniform rust color?

You do not need to do anything. It will rust on its own, but you can accelerate it with something acidic. Vinegar will work.
