Looking good Jimmy! I envy your griffithii, I wish I could smell it ;) and praetorii looks awesome! My buotii is budding up on old peduncles outside. My imperialis dropped buds when the temps dipped into the 40s at night a couple weeks ago but now there's more buds coming. And danumensis dropped new peduncles and is growing more now. I'm not going to get too attached because there's some more cold nights coming. Why couldn't they have bloomed over the summer?? ;(

My danumensis kicked the bucket seemingly overnight after I did a BATS treatment on it and the others in my bathroom (scale and mealybug infestation on one of my wallichiis...scale on all but griffithii). I am wondering why. Roots looked fine, but the leaves yellowed (top to bottom), fell off, and the plant DIED within two days of the treatment (and since it is semi-hydro, it gets a BATS drench, a one minute soak, then the pot is completely emptied of water, and flushed for a couple of minutes).

Between kids, work, and now school, things aren't as best looked after as usual. Too bad, was one of my favorites. Everyone else is free of pests and happy, so not all bad news!

I'm just using a galaxy 5 phone for the photos...lol .Not sure why your hoya died.I have mine in a self watering pot with my reg mix.It really likes a lot of water and slightly acidic conditions. I've been using an acid fertilizer on all of my hoyas because of the high pH of my tap water. I'll send you another cutting of it in the spring if you want! Here is H kerrii

My halconesis and buotii are absolute beasts right now. The rampant growth on those two is astounding. Had to untangke them from each other and a few surrounding plants.

The pH of my water is quite low, so I am wary of trying an acid fert. I may end up rooting a cutting of buotti just to do a test :)

Hi, Poonsak decided it was cool enough to bloom and looks like it will rival my cv. Sunrise for most blooms on one plant. They aren't open enough to smell yet but by tonight it should.

Nice job on getting lacunosa Poonsak to bloom. How is the sent?? As far as the led light 16 inches and longer is good.The higher up the light the larger of an area it will cover.Did you get the round one or the square one??

Jimmy, it smells just like a sweet ole lacanosa, same as my Sunrise. Very nice, fragrant but not too strong.
