Amaryllis indoors year round?

hey i have a red lion, and a picotee amaryllis. I have south-southwest facing windows. I live in an apartment in a cold climate (5B) please note that i do not have a garden nor can i put the plants outside in summer. Is it possible for me to keep these amaryllis (hippeastrum) indoors all year round and have them bloom for me each year? in late spring and all summer my windows get alot of nice hot direct sun they will love to get the food in there leaves to reflower. This time of year its winter, dull drab blah out. So can i grow these inside all year. if so do i have to stop watering in late summer to induce a dormancy like you would if there outside? ive heard many people simply keep the plants evergreen all year round and the flowers will show up when they feel
