Japanese Pieris in containers over winter.

I have a bunch of Japanese Pieris plants that are in plastic containers. I live in Ohio and right now I have these plant on my front porch. The porch is unheated but protected by plastic for the winter. Will these plants survive there until spring or should I bring them inside? Any suggestions on how to keep them healthy until spring planting time would be great.
