There once was a girl named Irina
Met on the forum but never had seen her
Though violets I enjoyed
She said "Don't buy a noid"
So the grocer's pink and green flower remains there
Just wanted to thank you Irina for keeping me from buying another noid today, all wilted with remnants of beautiful green edged pink flowers. My wife says "you should get it and save it". I said no believe it or not. I think you finally got it through my head.
On a scarier note, remember the fifty or sixty leaves I had put down in September from bloomlovers? Not one casualty yet I finished up transplanting all the babies today. All the leaves had produced well and now I have about three hundred little 3 oz cups of baby violets on my light stand. And I took some of my favorites, cut the leaf stem again and stuck them in the soil to see if I could get them to go another round. It's comical. I won't be bored this winter! Ken
