Fiddle Leaf Fig Tree Help!

Hi everyone, I recently acquired a cute little Ficus lyrata at a local nursery (beginning of October 2016). It's in a 12 inch pot with drainage holes (came in one and i haven't repotted since it was getting cooler and heading into the winter season). I got it home, placed near a non-drafty window with indirect sunlight, not under a vent, and I water it every 2-3 weeks. I live in South Carolina, so the humidity is still prevalent in the winter months, meaning the soil stays moist (but not damp) longer. When watering, I use about 1-2 pints of tap water that has sat out for a few days to evaporate any chemicals. I let all of the water drain out until nothing is left until i place the pot back in the planter. I hope I covered all the care aspects. However, it's just not satisfied and continues to drop leaves and acquire browning on the leaves (mainly the bottom ones). I have attached photos for reference. Any idea what's happening? I just lost the biggest leaf on the tree yesterday and it was perfectly dark green and shiny.
