My house has no dining room and the area in the living/kitchen/dining area isn't that big. There's only 2 of us and I rarely entertain but would still like a dining area.

Option 1 - rectangle dining table against the wall where the xmas tree is.

Option 2 - rectangle or oval between the island and living area. Ps edge of island to rug is 10 feet.

Ps I'm planning on new living room furniture.
Pass I have another family room upstairs.
