Finally got a seed pod (on my parents' plants)! Been reading up on this topic but just wanted to get any advice.
Not sure how long it's been growing but I'm planning to cover it in a mesh bag and let nature do its thing. Saw on YouTube that someone noticed it rotting and pulled it off before it split open on its own and manually split it open with a knife. He then removed some vein from inside which causes rot. I don't really know how to spot rot or mold on a seed pod. My question is do I need to keep an eye for this thing or just let nature run its course and just wait till the pod open and releases the seeds on its own? Only 1 pod so don't want to mess this up too bad. It's at my parents house so maybe I don't have a choice anyway...
thanks!
