Maisie, thanks. I cannot tell for sure from the photos -- is that one solid chunk of tree? Or a few big pieces expertly joined together? The one I saw in town, I think, was one solid chunk of tree (very big tree!)

Ed, a few pcs put together. My husband actually corrected me re:price we paid about 7k incl the chairs. I can't remember how much for the table alone.

I really like your table. How about a pop of green and nature. Maybe add a vase or items to it or just add greenery inside it like moss

Hi Bobbie, I was thinking of placing a smaller vase/planter inside with a nice houseplant but not sure what to put around to fill the extra space. I would also need to remove the vase when we're using the table to eat bec it takes up a big section. Maybe I shouldn't have bought it but I love its funkiness. Lol. Thanks

You could fill the extra space with rock or glass beads. I kind of like it empty, too. I like it with your table.

Love the funky bowl! I think filling it with some dark "nonperfect" rocks would go nicely with the style of the table and the rest of the room.

I think the point is that candles would not come above the top of the vase. The contrast of white candles against grey rock and the interior/exterior of the vase would look great. I'm thinking 3" wide pillars, not tapers.

Barnhart, i love the eggs (they are ceramic eggs, right?!) but i don't know how that would work with the rest of the room. I forgot to mention that the dining room is off to the side of the front foyer.

Red! I see red as your accent colour in this room. Think of red flowers , red apples, red bocce balls - something fun and vivid for sure

I think that too much of anything will take away from the amazing table. It looks too tall because it is close to chair height. Put it somewhere else. Hang it on the wall on its side-somehow (?). Put a simple pillar candle in a straight, clear hurricane.

I like the idea I'd something green in it. I have some green mossy balls in a bowl in my dining room and they add a nice bit of colour. Absolutely love your table! I would also add something else with it, a grouping of 3 things, one taller, and one maybe flat. Maybe a candle in a funky hurricane?

Also, maybe something black and chunky beside it, to tie in with your dark wall?

I was at a florist yesterday who also creates stunningly beautiful artificial arrangements. Maybe look for someone to create you something to fill that bowl that really highlights it's funky shape and make it a perfect centerpiece for that gorgeous table!

I see more of a "tall grass look", not low round objects. A creative florist will be inspired by the cool shape.
