I purchased the sofa from Pottery Barn several years ago. It's the PB basic with a warm white denim slipcover. I've had it for 4 years and it still looks like new-that's with 2 teenagers and a very naughty dog in the house. I'd highly recommend. It's a great price and since you can clean it yourself you would probably spend less in the long run. I think it run about $1,100 before tax and shipping.

I'm about to purchase a Pottery Barn sofa and am undecided on fabric. I'm torn between the warm white denim and natural brushed canvas. Someone told me that the denim wrinkles more than the canvas. Have you had any trouble with wrinkles? Thanks!

Thanks so much taking the time to give me all the great info! I'm now also looking at the linen/cotton fabric in ivory. It's just so hard to choose. I took your advice on getting the discount at the store & it worked. I'm going to order the sofa tonight!

Hope it works well for you Michelle. I forgot to mention that if you open a PB charge you'll get 10% back in merchandise credit as well. We did that when we ordered the slipcovered sofa and ended up using the credit toward a console table that marked was way down because it was a floor sample. Even if you cut up the card after the first use you'll end up with a nice credit to buy a couple pillows for the sofa or some accessories.

Karen, do you use bleach or any whiteners on your slipcovers since they are "warm" white?

Heidileanne, I pre-treat stains then use Oxiclean. I have heard that bleach can cause yellowing, so I avoid it.

I love my white couch from pottery barn. 2 washings in 5 years and it still looks perfect. I would say mine is the denim as opposed to the canvas. It looks very similar to this picture, just a slightly different couch.
