Happy New Year to all, as well! I rushed out of bed this morning, not because it's Christmas, but because I heard thunder. Looked out the window and saw rain coming down in sheets! This is MORE exciting than Christmas morning.

Happy New Year to all! I, too, felt such a deep relief when we began to receive the first rains before the holiday.

As always, I feel a sense of excitement and anticipation at the beginning of each growing season, when I get the seeds ordered.

I've been meaning to share this with you since you were kind enough to inquire a while back. A healthy, happy Bobby 3+ months after his laser surgery (two types of cancer removed from both ears). And to address your concern at the time, his hearing is only slightly diminished at certain angles

- still well enough for him to ignore me at times! ;-D

Aw, thanks for letting me know about Bobby! What a sweetheart he is! How can you tell if a cat is being a cat (ignoring you) or is hard of hearing, hahaha!
