This is slightly irrelevant, but I'm a newbie at water gardening and I'm hoping to try it out this season. I'm going to be doing it in a sink(I'll plug the drainage hole). The sight is sitting in partial to full shade. Since there are to compartments my family and I are hoping that one of them well contain some goldfish??

Questions I have:

When do I start the water garden?

What plants should I have?

Should I have plants in the goldfish section as well?

Also, I live in zone 8a.
