School burly garden

I am looking for seeds for my school's butterfly garden in Michigan. My students want to attract frittalaries, buckeyes and swallowtails. I would be happy to send stamped envelopes. The school is Jefferson international Academy at 60 S. Lynn in Waterford, MI 48322. I appreciate any help! Thank you, science teacher, Mrs. Opolsky

Mrs. Opolsky. I have plenty of seeds on hand for Black-eyed Susans and Shasta daisies, Tithonia, Sweet Williams. These are great pollen producers for butterflies and bees. No need to send postage. I will cover that for you. I have a large envelope all ready to go to the Post Office for you soon. It contains about 800 seeds . Good luck with the garden.

This is going to be a great boost! We planted milkweed in the fall. Now we can start some plants indoors. We will definitely have a garden started this spring. Thank you so much everyone!

Are you still in need of seeds? People on this exchange have been so generous to donate to our school garden that we have seeds we can share. Let me know and I can put some in the mail to you. :)

I will send seeds. Donating to schools with children is a great idea to expose them to gardening. Sending purple & white cone flower, red and yellow columbine, red columbine and milkweed. What is great with these is they self seed themselves or you can harvest the spent flowers and get the seeds out of the pods. Please take a couple of photos when you are up and blooming.

I also try and find a senior adult retirement home that I can donate some of my plants I start from seed.

Hi Pam - here's a link http://forums.gardenweb.com/forums/raterev . Hoping you got my package as well, when the post office keyed it in they changed the zip code by one number according to their system. Just start a new thread for me. :-)

Hi Pam, at the very top of the rate and review forum page just enter my name in the search box. This will let you add to my list without starting a new thread.

Hello, I am out on leave of absence, but the school secretary sent me two letters, with seeds. I received from Cheryl and from Kandi. There may be more waiting for me at school. Thank you so much!

Hi Pam - if we Google your school, your zipcode is 48328 not 2. That may have interfered with some deliveries. My tracking number 9500115226717012039939 - it says the package is being held at the post office as the business was closed when they tried to deliver. Last updated on January 14th - perhaps you can stop by the post office and see if there's anything else there. Your name is on it, so if it's there, you should be able to pick it up. Hope all is well with your leave.
