This is definitely a marble, from that angle it closely resembles Colorado Yule Marble, or a Calacatta Marble.

The counter is definitely marble and definitely VERY white as is the rest of the kitchen. The builder who did this remodel is awesome. The marble is a Calacatta type, but I do not recall which one. It is definitely not Colorado Yule. This was, I think, our 6th or 7th application of Clearstone and I regret to say that we were not recording some of the details we do now, such as the stone type, the distributor, the fabricator and the designer.
