New kitchen going in next month...Shaker doors in BM (Chantilly Lace) white...

New Quartz - counters and back splash (see photos (TCE1902); and huge island (TCE 4023)....

Question - Honed/polished?? Thickness?? Type of edge?? ....HELP

what is "IN" for 2017??

What's in today is "out" tomorrow. ... dislike "faddish " things. A friend of mine , very trendy , just remodeled her kitchen with the most hideous concrete counters (poorly executed) & the most monstrous faucet ... it must be 30" high , along with the busiest 3D effect multicolored backsplash. I should win an Oscar nomination for telling her how great it looks !!! I didn't want to hurt her feelings of course.

agreed...so i've picked everything else for the kitchen, (and the house for that matter)...but i'm a little stuck on this, can't make up my mind...and I'm usually very decisive .....help

You need to consider the style of your house, whether modern, traditional, mediterranean, coastal, etc. The kitchen style should match the rest of the architecture. That may help you decide on materials and edge styles.

not done yet, I expect it will only be finished end of March... sorry. If you do yours sooner pls do send pics. I'd love to see it.
