Where to purchase piping, colors?

Where can i purchase pipe for a wall handrail?
Is this paintable or does it come in different style, saw some that looked very rustique as if they wer varnishe?

it is just regular black pipe about 1.5 inch. we cleaned it and painted it with black tremclad paint. most plumbing supplies stores would have the pipe and may be able to cut and thread it for you.
