Hello -

We are remodeling a 20-year old kitchen in a 90-year old Tudor. The kitchen is open to the family room, and both are additions to the house. We are empty nesters with 3 adult children and like to entertain, both dinners and parties. The kitchen/family room area is definitely a great spot to mingle. I also like to bake at holidays.

We have already updated some of our appliances so those will stay: a wolf 30 double oven and a 48 wolf cooktop. We need to replace our refrigerator/freezer, which are currently the 601R and 601F subzero older models. The current plan includes a Subzero PRO 48, but I am changing that to an integrated column model, probably 54 inches because the Subzero PRO is not going to look good next to my stainless steel double ovens. All windows and doors in the kitchen need to stay where they are. The back kitchen door is the main entrance to the house, as our garage is off the kitchen. No one parks in the front and enters through the front door unless they are a guest. Thanks so much for your advice!
