It's a phalaenopsis, aka moth orchid. Very easy to grow and rebloom, even for beginners. But it does like a warm environment. 60-65F at night and warmer during the day. Even a zone 10 is a little risky for outdoors, at least in winter.

Cool temps in the fall will help it rebloom. I have one going on six years that is exposed every year to many nights in the low 40's and some nights in the upper 30s. Just keep it in the brightest indirect light you can and out of direct sun wherever you grow it.
