It looks like you’ve done your
homework. All of the brands and styles that you mentioned are high quality
products. What makes Calstone pavers more expensive to manufacture is a value
added feature that we call Duraface. In essence the bottom 90% of a Calstone
paver is similar to competing products. The top 10% of the paver is made with a
finely graded concrete that has a substantially higher concentration of cement
and pigments resulting in a stone that is more vibrant, and durable. It’s like
having an armor plated version of a standard paving stone. Calstone Duraface
pavers will retain their original texture and color longer than any other paver

Any thoughts on Cambridge Pavers?

Cambridge manufactures paving stones using a
dual mix design similar to Calstone. Cambridge is a premium paving stone
producer in Lyndhurst New Jersey, and their ArmorTec pavers are very much like
Calstone’s DuraFace pavers.

We are making the same decision. What did you decide. We are seriously considering Basalite. What did you learn and decide in the end?
