Need help! any thoughts on saving this guy?

Meyer lemon tree (i think 3 yrs old?) was doing great outside until i brought it in for the winter. Don't have a great sunlight window for it and all my ledges are over (but not in direct line) of electric heat vents. Since day 1 of bringing it inside it has struggled...this was a very FULL and flowering&budding tree... (Now you can see the stalk on the L is completely bare and more of a brownish colour) .Have moved it away from the heat and have a plant light bulb (from home depot) on it to help. Have used a liquid plant food on it recently to help boost it...any thoughts or suggestions? Thanks!

Stop fertilizing a stressed tree.

Remove the fruits as they are the "sink" for the tree's energy reserve. It will have a better chance to survive, and thrive, if the fruits are gone.

If the browned stalk is a dead branch, then cut it off. This might be helpful: http://tropicalfruitforum.com/index.php?topic=13332.0

I would also try to give it more light, be careful with overwatering, and cut off any dead/brown limbs. I agree with Jean about the fruits. What do you have it planted in? If it is some type of package soil, I would change it out this spring to the 5-1-1 or gritty mix.

Thanks for the comment! It is in whatever the nursery had it in..according to them it is good in it for a long time... So i should cut that whole half of the tree back..i reposted this earlier today with a different title and some other pictures just cause people seem drawn to the meyer lemon title and i didn't get that in this one and couldn't figure out how to change it.
