Ideas on coffee table?

What would you recommend for coffee and side tables? I painted walls white, got lights for ceiling, and bought pillows from West Elm. The room will be used for playing board games and ping pong, and maybe movies. Still need to paint old 1920s metal cabinet with glass doors

Suggest two small rounds or "C" tables.

Simple pull up in the style of your choice to go with your gorgeous pieces. If you can slide the sectional down a little you might get a single coffee table, but kind of doubt it.

Can you turn your rug? Your chairs need to be fully anchored, on, the rug. This may also give you a bit more separation between chairs and sofa. More room for a coffee table.

Not sure about dimensions, but Nuguchi table (or suitable knockoff).
    Fabulous room, by the way.

I don’t think I would use a coffee table just some interestin end tables you need lamps anyway and the end tables will serve the sofa and one chair and if possible another one between the chairs maybe , IMO a noguchi will not fit in that space

Thanks for your comments. I think I should flip the rug (9x13) to run lengthwise so black chairs are anchored as you say. The rest of room is ping pong table and old wood card table that has marble game on it at moment. I will take more pics.

I have about 30-35 inches square max for table. I was looking for glass with chrome (like light and chairs) but really like mid century modern ideas (house is mid mod design from 1965). Want coffee table for games and placing drinks on. Thanks again

For coffee table a good choice would be round and glass. The room could use some wood to balance and anchor all the metal on the chairs. Use two round wood side table. You also need lamps on both of the side tables. Use matching lamps picking the blue color from the rug and dark cream shades for the lamps. You will have a beautiful and warm room.

Not a suggestion but I love your space! Everything you've chosen enhances everything else. And that pop of green from the plant against the gray and orange...well done!

A Platner coffee table would be great for that space.

8 options.. might this frosted echo the 'fading strokes' in your art, and bit of green in pillow? Also clear, etc... even 'rod' look like ceiling light. I like your room a lot!

I like tedbixby's suggestion; an unusual shape and mixing in some wood will warm the space

We bought a coffee table that has metal industrial style legs that were welded together with a wood top. I think it would fit in well with your style.

I would def go for two small round tables as the area is small. Glass to keep things light and airy and some metallic on the bottom part. Love the two round barrel things from earlier post.

Thank you, for your comments. I must say I am torn between wood versus chrome bottom/support for a coffee table versus two small tables. I agree with looking for circular ones and I have 30-35 inches diameter space. The room is long (27 feet) but narrow (13 feet). Half of the room is ping pong table that can be folded up or moved aside for dancing. I have been eye balling a floor lamp that is silver/chrome arch like from 1970s

    Other side of room.
The messy cabinet and door out of the room. Metal grey cabinets (need to be repainted) with glass front doors from 1920s and grandmas chair.

An Arco lamp plus that overhead light might be a little too much for the space. Also think carefully about the flow of foot traffic with an Arco lamp. They take up a lot more foot traffic space than you think depending on where you place it. Ducking your head to get to the couch or chair can become bothersome over time.

I think two tables that could be pulled up is the most functional for this "play" space. They would fit in the space better as well.

Trying to decide what type of sofa or love-seat would go well with Barcelona chairs? Any ideas? I have up to 85 inches along wall. Now have two areas with swivel chairs to join room together.

I'd to for "C" tables - a pair of them - with or without a coffee table.
