It will begin pushing out new growth from the nearest leaf node scar(s) to the cut without too much action required by you. So the answer is yes it will regrow but how it regrows is dependent on where you cut it and then just plain luck if it pushes more than one branch out. If you had cut a branch too close to the stem and there is not a leaf node scar then its unlikely to regrow from that point.
