Our winter blast came in with a low of 7F followed by a 6F. It gut up to freezing and dropped to 7F. We got snow that insulated most of my GH so my plants sailed through very nicely. I am glad to hear you trees did fine. Both my outside Cuban Shaddocks died as expected. The C.S. is not worth growing.

PS we are slated to go 15 days and nights above freezing. This will be a record for Cincinnati.

I think my trees enjoyed a little extra reflected light from the snow through the windows ;-)

My roof Yuzu has been exposed to lows in the low to mid 20s off and on for 3 weeks now, and dry air to make things worse. I have a plant blag over it and a Gardenia and wrapped the branches in incandescent Christmas lights as best as I could. There's been a little bit of tip dieback and some dropping of leaves but it's a tough plant and I'm hopeful that it'll be as vigorous as ever once the Spring comes.
