Hi guys

I have a Jicama plant that unfortunately stopped growing at 3 months because the container i grew it in was too small and the roots had nowhere to go. So I decided to repot it into a bigger container. Must have broken some of the roots at the end of the developed tuber because the plant is beginning to wilt. I have never had Jicama before and thought of harvesting anyway but this plant has 2 pods that are still green and i need the seeds to propagate. If I leave it in I'm afraid the root will sprout and I'll have to wait 5 more months to taste.

Will green jicama seeds germinate? Will they dry up and become brown if I harvest them now? Help
