Dg material

Hi,
I am in the middle of a decomposed granite problem. I have had 2 separate guys lay down the dg. One with a stabilizer already premixed from a company in San Diego, the other with Gator stabilizer liquid added after the dg path was laid and compacted by machine. Each time it breaks up into clumps. Very messy and it has not even rained yet. How do I keep it compacted? Concrete added? How do I get the right material?

Sheesh --- that's a drag! Sorry, but I can't diagnose the problem from here... There are a number of ways to go wrong with d.g.: too much slope; bad water:stabilizer mix; bad compaction; too thick a "lift" and more... My best idea is to find some d.g. in your neighborhood that is holding up well then find out who did it then talk to that guy/gal. Also, maybe your local d.g. store has something for you???? Or the supplier of the d.g.??? Wish I could be more helpful.

Use EnviroSeal from Florida. It smells like elmer's glue but really hold the DG together.
