hello keagle, I am having this problem too with my Benchmark. I timed my soup and some frozen peas today. Small cup of soup took almost 4 minutes, very very hot. Peas were overcooked, lots of moisture inside oven both times. I have a service call in about this as my oven is still under warranty. I am not sure, though if this is normal. You say they replaced sensor and this is still happening? The microwave works great otherwise. As well as convection feature.

Also on reheat, the whole time it is "sensing" and then shuts off. With the peas, it sensed for 3 minutes or so maybe longer and then stated 1 minute 17 seconds more at which point I stopped the cooking time as the peas were overdone. With potatoes it takes like 3 tries to get them to cook on sensor. I have given up in past and just put in a set time for them.

May- please let me know what service says. I love my oven but I expect to have full use of it. I will call for service.

i have had someone come by and he has ordered all parts in regard to sensor malfunction. Hopefully he will be able to fix it. Also we are having a lot of condensation which Bosch has recognized as abnormal. We tested a potato while the technician was here and it came out cooked but hard and crusty on the bottom. Something is going on wrong as my old Kenmore Elite (aka Kitchenaid) microwave did not do this for potatoes. It is a bummer as I expected a lot from this oven but Bosch is handling it very well so far. Their customer service line is excellent.

Thanks for the update. I will have to call for service. I am having the same issues.

Sensor sucks!!! Period!!! I just don't' work!!!

our sensor cook has been garbage since the day it was installed. Didn't know this was a warranty issue.

mayanl5 Can you tell me more about your condensation issue that Bosch admitted was abnormal? My brand new speed oven sometimes gets condensation between the glass. Bosch is telling me that's normal. Thanks.

cailgirl123, do you mean inside the glass door? I do have condensation but it is not inside the glass. Any condensation during cook time can be easily wiped down or air dried. I would send your oven back if you can see condensation in the glass with the door closed. That would drive me crazy!

mayanl5 You wrote previously that Bosch admitted the condensation you experienced was abnormal. Can you describe that more - what was happening and how they fixed it? Mine is condensation between the glass during/after cooking sometimes. They sent someone to service it, but then said it was normal.

hi again cailgirl123, an update, ok so we cooked some frozen fries on the turn style plate (convection frozen foods function) tonight and yes we did have condensation between the glass. I guess I had not noticed this before. It went away shortly after cooking time was finished so I guess it's normal. If it had not gone away and was there all the time, I think it would be a problem. So it sounds like it is normal as they are telling you....hope this helps.
