Hello! Yes, you can order the under bed storage drawers. We will add that to HOUZZ and I will let you know when it is ready. Yes, this would fit in a house with 8' ceilings. The bed is only 61" tall, so you would have about 35" between the very top of the bed and the ceiling. The weight limit on this bunk is 400lbs per bed, definitely good for adults.
