I hate to be the bearer of possibly bad news, especially when it relates to a violet that I sent, ... but that Snowy Sky does not look well. When the leaves get that pinched look, ... I suspect Broad Mite. I'd suggest discarding the plant, and spraying any close associates with a Forbid mixture.

I've had Broad Mite in the past and it can spread fast.

Regarding the Snowy Sky, ... it looked fine when I sent it, ... and I had had no Broad Mite outbreaks in its vicinity (downstairs). I am very sorry to have supplied you a plant which has apparently developed this issue, but I would cut my losses immediately and chuck it.

The rest of your plants look good, but I'd spray anything that been in the vicinity of the Snowy Sky.

I just searched for images of broad mite damage and I think you're right. I thought I had powdery mildew and sprayed this weekend. I assume that I can't see the mites themselves, but the leaves did look like they had PM before I sprayed.

I don't think that it came from you, because you're right, all your plants looked fine when I got them. I have about 5 with leaves like that, including the Blueberry Ruffles shown above. I'll toss them all.

Is it possible to clean a leaf for propagation or would you advise against it?

So sorry you are facing the loss of, possibly, five plants..

The advice I've received is that you can take leaves, and dip them in Forbid miticide solution, and safely use them for propagation.

You need to spray everything with Forbid... just in case. You will never see the mites - Broad Mites require 30x lens - or microscope. They are 1/150 inch size - and 30x lens - is really hard to keep still to see them - even your heart beat will blurr the focus.

Your Instant Attraction - white is sport - pink with fantasy blooms to the description. Happens and it is not that rare. You can decorate your compost pile with this sport - or keep it as a sport - but with a potential infestation threat - I would stick only to the ones you absolutely love. White sport doesn't look that special to me. It is a Paul Sorano new hybrid - and usually the flowers are to die for, rosette is lanky.

LE- Zelerata Rosa - is misspelled and mislabeled. Lebetskaja has several hybrids with Rosa in the name. The closest in spelling is LE-Zelenaja Rosa (Green Rose) - it will have the cabbage looking white blossoms with a variable touch of pink on petals and green frilly edge. Leaves medium to light green, wavy. The plant you have under this name - doesn't have the wavy leaves and the blossoms - though very pretty - are not even close. Sport? Probably NoID.

Irina and Aegis, thanks for you advice. I spent the weekend spraying all plants, cleaning shelves, pots and trays and tossing suspects and duplicates. I'm keeping my fingers crossed that the pests are gone. Thanks again.
