What door material can be used in a shower?

I am looking for advice in designing a shower with an exterior door. Do you have any advice or brands you recommend?

This is a Fleetwood aluminum door. No doors are really designed to get wet on both sides so we chose aluminum over wood and modified the bottom track to allow water to drain out on the inside. This was our best option.

How do you use such a large tile over the shower pan?

By using a linear drain (such as Quickdrain or Quartz by Aco) the shower floor can be flat and sloped in one direction as opposed to the typical warped slope towards one central drain. This allows us to use a large format tile.
