You need to start your list with kinds that do well in your region.

to learn what they are, contact your county's Extension Service Office.

Assuming you are in a reasonably warm summer area of CA I'd recommend the following.

Red: Either Flame for an early grape or Crimson for late. Or, my choice, do both.

Green: Princess or Thompson. My choice would be Princess if you can find it.

Purple: Summer Royal

These four would give you grapes from July until Nov.
