Have you thought at all about a retractable slider wall instead? Do you have any pictures or building plans of the space?

Get a different plan. That doesn't even factor in the structural, changes that you would need to have happen to be able to put in a window wall and not have your house blow down in the next strong wind. Nanawall type doors are 1K per foot. Plus the structural work. You gotta pay the costs to be the boss. But, you'd likely be putting 30K rims on a rusty 91 Malibu for the average seasonal cabin.

I'm told that the design above is structurally fine. And it is approved and permitted. Between each window is support framing. Does that alleviate the structural concern?

With steel, or structural timberframe yes. Standard dimensional lumber, doubtful. Too much clear span and no room for sufficient corner sheathing. It doesn't resist shear forces well. Much less snow loading. And there is no way that this complies with the insulation and glazing requirements. Not without that window quote being doubled. Did you use an actual, architect for this? Or just a drafter? No structural engineer?
