Yes, I'll post pics soon...they are just babies I purchased at a local nursery.

I wanted a Chirita 'Aiko', but they didn't have any. I'm determined to find one.

Instructions from my local nursery said not to repot until after 1st bloom.

I actually might repot sooner than that...but I understand their advise not to overpot. I've never seen the local nursery that has this sort of inventory.

It's a huge one...very large indoor plant variety, 2 greenhouses. the outdoor nursery has to be 3 acres. if you're looking for something, chances are they'll have it.Like a particular tree or shrub. Or rose or anything. '16 Acres Garden center' it's called.

There's another Nursery just over the state line in Ct. that is even bigger. 7-8 greenhouses & more outdoor acreage. 'Gardener's Dream' it's called. I could easily spend hours here. They have the sweetest, lovable resident Lab mix there that I always bring PB biscuits to.

I have Aiko and many more if you are still looking. Yay, a strep! I'm a huge fan. I also have S. Grotei Silvert clone and it's a nice species.

Anybody knows who is the hybridizer of Primulina 'Periwinkle' ? Seems tha it is a good one.

Haha, I understand that temptation, but be careful ordering from either VB or LL this time of the year. Winter packing charges or not, they are in upstate NY and it's been pretty cold up there. Good luck!

I'm in western Ma. So it's not that far away, & they pack phenomenally. I was very impressed. But surprised that they didn't have Chirita 'Aiko'.

Yes, the VB packs wonderfully. They are a role model for packing plants. LL is Lyndon Lyons. I hope it comes through safely for you.

That's for extra insulated winter packing. Their non-winter charges start more around $14. That reminds me that I need to contact VB and LL for one of each of my chimera AV's I ordered from them in the autumn haven't bloomed true.
