Where are you and are you a professional tree trimmer/arborist? I have a tree that I need to have removed.

Just a thought..... Check with the City Brush Collection page and they will list which neighborhoods are scheduled for brush pickup. Tree trimmers usually give homeowners a discount at that time because they do not have to haul away limbs. You might find tree logs set out by the curb in neighborhoods that are scheduled for pickup.

I am out in canyon lake, not a professional arborist, just a vulture lol. I'm deep enough in the country there isn't a city brush collection, but I do pick some up from the brush collection center in the next town.

FYI in case you aren't aware. If you talk to anyone that has been sawing for a few years they will tell you logs collected from an urban setting have so much steel imbedded they wouldn't take them if delivered free to their door. Same apply's to trees cut near roads, houses,fence rows and barns. A super sensitive metal detector helps but waste's time and will miss pieces. There's Live Oak Limbs around your location larger than trees some places but limb.wood never stop's moving,never. If you can find land being cleared by dozers,you can find some great trees. Mesquite doesn't yield much in the way of logs but if tree is out of ground,wood from lower trunk and roots is worth plenty.

Not that I doubted it, but not being a sawyer I never thought about steel being embedded in trees so Googled the subject.
