Optimara Harlequin showing off for me again. This is a lovely chimera-look alike that is in fact NOT a chimera at all. It has variable flowers that can range from entirely burgundy to nearly entirely white with burgundy edges depending on how hot or chilly my growing temperatures are at the time it blooms. It tends darker in summer heat and more white in winter but as I'm in the deep South, mine doesn't tend to turn as white as many people's. The first photos is taken outdoors and is a bit too pink, and the next two taken indoors on the growing shelf are more color correct. The petal edges are a purple-red burgundy and somewhat dark in person.
